By accessing and using EchoReply ("the Extension", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
EchoReply is a Chrome extension that provides AI-powered response suggestions for social media platforms including X (Twitter) and LinkedIn. The Extension uses artificial intelligence to generate reply suggestions based on user-configured personas and preferences.
3. User Accounts and Subscriptions
EchoReply offers subscription plans with the following terms:
- Monthly Plan: $50 per month, billed monthly
- Annual Plan: $40 per month, billed annually ($480/year)
- Free Trial: All plans include a 1-day free trial period
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when configuring your persona
- Use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not use the Extension for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
- Maintain the security of your API keys and account credentials
- Review and verify all AI-generated suggestions before posting
5. AI-Generated Content
EchoReply uses artificial intelligence to generate response suggestions. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
- You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing all suggestions before use
- You are responsible for all content posted using suggestions from the Extension
- We are not liable for any consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated suggestions
6. API Keys and Third-Party Services
EchoReply supports integration with OpenAI (GPT) and Google Gemini. You acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid API keys from third-party providers
- API keys are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers
- Your use of third-party AI services is subject to their respective terms of service
- We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or terms of third-party AI services
7. Privacy and Data
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data. Key points:
- All API keys and persona configurations are stored locally in your browser
- We do not store your conversations or personal information on our servers
- No data is sent to third parties except as necessary for AI service functionality
8. Intellectual Property
The Extension, including its design, functionality, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the Extension without permission
- Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
- Create derivative works based on the Extension
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ECHOREPLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION.
10. Service Availability
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the Extension at any time
- Update features and functionality
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes to the service.
11. Refunds and Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are provided at our discretion and may be subject to the following:
- Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase
- No refunds for annual plans after 30 days of subscription
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Extension. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which EchoReply operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
